Elisa MarcantoniLicensed Rome guide and art historian — Rome, Italy

Palazzo Doria Pamphilj is an independent guide to the Galleria Doria Pamphilj — I compare the tickets and tours so you can book the right one at the right price.

What I do

I have spent fifteen years walking visitors through Rome’s private palace collections, which is how I know the Velázquez room empties out for about ten minutes just after opening, and why I noticed that the €16 door price gets you entry, the audio guide, and the Private Apartments, but resold tickets often charge €29–€39 for the same core product with a booking fee or a 30-minute slot attached. This site exists to sort that out.

I research the tickets and tours available for the Galleria on GetYourGuide, read through real traveller reviews, and write honest, specific guidance on which option suits which traveller. I am not a tour operator and I do not sell tickets. When you’re ready to book, you go to GetYourGuide, a licensed reseller, to complete your booking. I earn a small affiliate commission if you do. That commission is also why I sometimes tell people to buy at the door instead, which costs me the sale but costs you less money.

How I’m funded

I earn a small affiliate commission when you book through my links, at no extra cost to you. That is what keeps the site free. It never changes which tickets I recommend. Read my affiliate disclosure for the full picture.
